Career & Return to Work Coach, Surrey

My experience and qualifications
I am a licensed Career Coach with the Career Counselling Services and have attained an Association of Coaching accredited award in Coach training. I am also a MCIPD qualified HR professional and studied Psychology at degree level. I have over 15 years of HR experience in both the Not for Profit and Private Sectors and have also worked for an Outplacement company. With first-hand experience on both sides of the recruitment process,I have interviewed and successfully recruited to numerous roles as well as delivered recruitment and selection workshops to managers. I have also supported many individuals through change and redundancy processes.
My background
I understand the emotional and practical challenges of returning to work and juggling work, personal and family commitments as I took a career break and made a career change following the birth of my second daughter. Through listening to individuals talk about their careers prior to having children, and how this affected their self-belief, confidence and clarity on what to do next, this inspired me to gain my Career Coaching license with Career Counselling Services (affiliated with the Association of Coaching) and set up WrightCareer.
I now deliver individual career coaching to a wide range of clients as well as run ‘Career Returner’ workshops. I believe individuals should be able to use their skills and experience to work in a role that is fulfilling and enables them to have a work life balance. I feel passionate that people should be given the opportunity, support, and guidance to recognise their potential, build their confidence, gain clarity on what their next career move will be and feel clear on what steps they need to take to achieve this.
